Slightly seasoned adult living in the mitten. Been creating through text for one, ok, two decades. My first interactions with any form of code were creating annoying AOL spam bots in visual basic; I'm sorry. That ended quickly and moved shortly onto the fine art of pixel-perfect site design (inspired heavily by gmunk, eboy, etc.) After this phase, I went on a hiatus and have since spent the following portion of my life working anywhere but in the tech field. Somehow, in my early to mid-thirties, my interest peaked again and seemed to stick around. I've spent most of the time learning and building personal projects in javascript (react mostly) and node for any other things that couldn't be shoehorned into there. Rust is now involved somehow; not sure why or how, but it's becoming a reasonably exciting tool.
